Full-Time Department Faculty

Dr. Michael Lindberg, Associate Professor and Department Chair
Dr. Lindberg attended Elmhurst College to receive his B.A. and then earned his M.A. from the University of Wyoming. He then went on to the University of Manitoba to obtain his Ph.D.

His teaching and research interests include military geography, political geography, economic geography, biogeography, Canada and Scandinavia. Dr. Lindberg is also an accomplished author with four books to his credit.

Dr. Lindberg is the Director of Freshmen Advising and the First-Year Seminar Program.

Dr. Richard Schultz, Assistant Professor
Dr. Richard Schultz earned his B.S. from Illinois State University and his M.S. from Wichita State University. He then attended the University of Cincinnati, were he earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Geochemistry.

His teaching and research interests include physical landscapes, weather and climate, GIS, environmental applications of GIS and geochemistry and statistical analyses of Paleozoic black shale deposits. Dr. Schultz's Home Page
