Specialized Majors

Students who wish to develop their interest in a specific field may choose one specialized major in a functional area offered by the Center for Business and Economics. Students seeking a specialized business major are required to fulfill the Business Core requirements, and each specialized major's requirements.

Requirements for Management Majors

Required: 5 courses

BUS 351 Organization Theory Or SOC 315 Complex Organizations

BUS 354 Human Resource Management

BUS 453 Organization Behavior

BUS 454 Leadership and Administrative Practices

BUS 457 Compensation Management

BUS 485 Internship (in management) may be used as a substitute for certain of the above courses, based on consent and approval of the Center for Business and Economics faculty.
